We hope so. For now we're focused on building the best possible experience for US residents, and international expansion is on our longer-term roadmap.
Health data is governed by different privacy laws in different countries, and CureWise is currently only authorized to operate under US regulations. Accepting health data from residents of other countries without the proper legal frameworks in place wouldn't be responsible — and we take the protection of your health information seriously.
Not currently. Eligibility is based on where you live, not where your care took place. We hope to expand to additional countries in the future.
Not at this time. CureWise is available to US residents, meaning people who are currently living in the United States. If you're a US citizen living outside the US, the platform may not be able to connect to your health systems or locate relevant resources for your situation.
CureWise is a US-based company built for people receiving cancer care in the United States. We don't currently support use outside the US.
Here's why:
- Privacy and health regulations. We operate under US health and privacy laws. Every country has its own rules for protecting health information, and we aren't yet able to meet the requirements of each one.
- Health system connections. CureWise connects only with US health systems. We can't connect to your health system if you receive care outside the US.
- US-based information. Our treatment information follows US guidelines and FDA approvals, and our clinical trial searches and insurance features are built around the US healthcare system. Treatments, approvals, and coverage can be different in other countries.
We know cancer doesn't stop at borders, and we hope to serve people in other countries in the future.
