We take this responsibility seriously. If CureWise is ever shut down or acquired by another company, you will be notified in advance and given a clear choice: you can request that your account and all associated medical records be permanently deleted, or you can choose to have your data transferred to the new entity. No. Your data is never used to train or improve any AI models.
CureWise accesses AI services from three providers — Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI. All three are accessed via their enterprise APIs, which by default prohibit the use of customer data for AI training. We have agreements in place with all three providers that ensure your health information remains private and is never used for any training or fine-tuning purposes.
Your health data belongs to you. CureWise uses AI only to help you understand and navigate your records, never to improve AI systems.When you connect your records, CureWise uses AI to analyze your information and generate insights tailored to your situation. This process is automated — your records are not routinely reviewed by a person. A team member may access your account only if you contact us for support and troubleshooting requires it. We will never access your data silently or without a clear reason tied to helping you.
Only you, anyone you invite as a care partner, and the CureWise platform have access to your health data. A very small number of team members may access your information in limited circumstances — specifically when you have reached out to us for technical assistance and resolution requires a closer look. This access is always purposeful and limited in scope. We do not share your data with your insurance company, employer, or any outside organization.
Yes. CureWise is designed with your privacy as a top priority. We follow HIPAA standards for protecting health information and use secure, encrypted systems to store and process your data. Our security is on the same level as your health system's patient portal and online banking.
